Today's work plan
- HMI: Photoshop mock-up of the three main function tab → make slide to show its function.
- 3D model: the current fbx file is too large (900mb), make it smaller (100~200mb)
Log
- Sort out alert icons and status icons, save them in two separate files.
- Looking for method to reduce 3dm file size:
- the original jt file is about 300 MB, and after being converted to 3dm file, it became 1.5 GB
- Use "Audit3dmFile" command to check what is contributing to the size: there are too many objects (more than 2 thousands)
- First, try to simplify the mesh. ←- looks like it doesn't work.
- Next, empty the inside of the excavator. I think it might help a lot
